Redteaming with AI
In the period of end of February until end of May 2025, I did an internship at Refracted Security in Lier.
Summary
The internship assigment was about "Redteaming with AI". The goal of this project was to create a tool that can help automate the process of red teaming. This is done with an AI integration to see how it can contribute to the tool. This is done by gathering information about the target, scanning for vulnerabilities and create a phishing campaign based on the gathered information.
The tool itself is built with Python and uses open-source tools and integrations to make the process more efficient. All this is created with a graphical user interface (GUI) to make it easier to use. To help set up phishing campaigns, the tool uses AI to generate realistic phishing emails and landing pages based on the gathered information.
Not only did I work on the tool, Refracted also gave me the opportunity to view related projects and tools that they use in their daily work. This way I was able to get more hands-on experience with the tools and techniques used in phishing campaigns.
